Rules
- Pregame huddle: All players must join the pregame huddle to discuss rules and intent of the game.
- 15 to 20 minute quarters with running clock. Two minutes between quarters and five minute half time.
- No minors.
- No officials. Self police on penalties. No man down situations.
- Random selection of teams each session.
- Use goal protector if no goalie available.
- Experienced players are the unofficial on-field coaches and should look for and take opportunities to coach up the rookies, respectfully that is. Experienced players can of course play hard but should be ambassadors of the sport by making the others better and not just tooling on old guy rookies.
- Play shorter field games if numbers don't allow full field games.
- All players are required to wear a lacrosse helmet, gloves and elbow pads. Goalie must have a throat protector and cup. Protective cup highly recommended. Shoulder pads and mouth guards recommended.
- No take out checks. No body checks. No clearing the crease.
- Control your stick.
- No metal cleats.
- Zero tolerance for anything even close to fighting. Immediate time out and all players huddle if things get chippy.
- Be supportive and respectful at all times.
